Netherlee Parent Council – Annual General Meeting: Staff Room - Monday 2nd November at 7pm
The Parent Council works in partnership with the school to promote parental involvement.
Last year we were involved in a variety of activities including assisting with the 75th anniversary celebrations, organising a sports event, and promoting health and well –being by supporting the cookery club set up by Kirsty McNeil. For the 2009/10 session we would welcome your ideas and everyone is welcome to come to the AGM even just to meet us all. The current parent members are Ailsa Crum, Karen Hussain, Tim Adams, Lisa Bullen, Lesley Farm, Steve Galloway, Val Graham, Liz Grant, Sara Lang, Margaret MacDiarmid, Cress Mahar, Seona McKenzie, Sue McMillan, Aida Santory, Susan Skirving, John Stoner and Vivienne Wilson. Teacher members are Sandra Mitchell, Brenda Williams and Kirsty McNeil.
You are welcome to join the Parent Council if you have a child in the school or nursery, or you can become involved for a single project. Please come along to the AGM to see what it’s all about without any further commitment, or contact us using:

Issues that have already been identified for the 2009/10 session are continuation of the Health and Well-being and Journalism Club projects, school safety & protection of the school from vandalism. In particular we would welcome your views on safety & protection, and this may concern traffic, lack of fencing around the school, road markings or bollards Etc. If you have any ideas on ways of promoting safety & secuirty around teh school, please let us know by returning the form below to your child’s teacher.
